British Industry is currently losing millions of pounds in lost production, through wasteful and inefficient use of resources, cost of accidents and damage to plant etc.  
As a Manager/Supervisor you have certain responsibilities.

To ensure that company resources, be it manpower, materials or equipment are used cost effectively and more importantly, safely, to the benefit of your company.
To ensure that once personnel are trained in a specific skill, be it operating a lathe, driving a lift truck or using a computer, that they continue to use that skill in such a manner, so as not to cause loss either financially or material to themselves, to their colleagues or the company.
To be responsible for the Health and Safety of the work force as required by the Health and Safety at Work Act, etc. 1974. and other associated legislation i.e. Factories Act, Dock Regulations, LOLER, PUWER etc.

This course has been designed to help you achieve this. However a Managers/Supervisors job is not an easy one and it is impossible to cover all aspects, but the course can be tailored to cover a specific area of concern.  Our main objective, therefore is to cover :

Traction Batteries, Turning radius and Minimum Aisle Widths for Lift Trucks
